Funerals

Natural Burial
Each and every one of us are individual, with many different experiences and beliefs developed over a whole lifetime. In the days and weeks following a death, it can be difficult to recall memories and focus on happier times. The task of designing a fitting funeral ceremony can seem an impossible task.

Whether a cremation or burial, it is important to remember that you have the choice of how you would like to pay tribute to your loved one. A ceremony should be unique and personal, with the aim of celebrating a life that has been well lived. With or without a religious edge, it is possible to create a tribute that everyone will remember.

From our first email or telephone contact, my aim is to provide you with as much or as little guidance and advice needed during the funeral preparations. My service includes an initial face-to-face visit, at home or elsewhere, or via Skype, so that we can discuss your wishes in detail and start to design a ceremony that reflects your loved one. Contemporary music or a hymn, prayers or poetry, the choice is yours, and you are very much welcome to contribute as much or as little as you would like. The layout of the ceremony will always be agreed between us and you can be sure of as much support as you need.

On the day of the funeral, I will work alongside the funeral director to support you and deliver the ceremony to the highest standard. You will also be provided with a copy of the ceremony in a presentation folder for you to keep as a lasting tribute to treasure.
